Loy’s reason for wanting to be behind the decks is driven by the sole motive of making people move. He is constantly in search for the connection between space, music and bodies. From euphoric melodies to grimy grooves, his sets will take you on a different journey each time.

Loy has played in local clubs like Upstairs, Tuff Club and Cherry. He has also been behind the decks for established local event organisers like Fomohomo, Unmute and Blackout Agency. All while organising his own parties with 5210pm, bringing together a new generation of young ravers…

MZA’s maiden set at Moonstone! He’ll be bringing an eclectic yet harmonious mix of house, UKG, jungle, and hip hop

Matthew Sekiya aka MZA is a mixed Japanese-Singaporean DJ/Producer, based in Singapore who is strongly influenced by his roots in hip hop and jazz.

Since the late 2010s he has been on a quest digging for samples in deep dusty grooves while constantly studying and evolving his sound. Whether it's a 4x4 groove, bulby garage basslines to amen-infused holy rollers under one of his many personas. MZA seeks to create a sound that encapsulates his life in the Southeast Asian diaspora.

As a DJ, he's built a career crafting sets that are bold and traverses the genre and bpm barriers. Being able to build up from hip hop, R&B slow jams to the break neck rhythms of hardcore and jungle that will have a crowd bouncing off the walls…

Grooves and vibes spreading like Wild Fyah on 4.20! Krstn & Rumshot will be firing up the dance floor with plenty of afro beats, reggae and dancehall 🔥🔥🔥

Nez Senja’s back for more rap, hip hop and r&b at MOONSTONE!

Nez Senja, aka Helios XL, cites influences through a diverse selection in which the timeless quality of music is essential. Since 2010, he has been spinning around Singapore’s nightlife circuit for over a decade, plus playing one-off DJ sets in Bangkok, Bali, Hong Kong, Manila, Milan, New York, Kuala Lumpur & Shenzhen. His style oscillates between rocking a club dancefloor to mixing smooth beats at brand activations and special events. He has also curated mixes on Blast Radio, Mixmag Asia, Bangkok Community Radio, Singapore Community Radio, Ice Cream Sundays and See You At One, culminating with a mix featured on Resident Advisor’s Mix Of the Day in October 2021.


Be afraid! The Kids Are Alright saunters back into Moonstone for the first time this year, looking to rumble into an evening of gluttonous excess filled with tasty grub, thirst quenchers, and of course, a smorgasbord of pop-music delights.

Chow and gurgle while your two entertainers weelikeme & YAFTH let loose on the makeshift dancefloor a full selection of shameless pop music from the 80s - current, along with garnishes of indie rock, electronica, hip hop, and some sad shit to dance to.

Grab a table, have some chow, wash em down with some yummy cocktails and then burn calories with some fancy footwork. Do it!

JENN CHUNES b2b TASHASAN - THU 4 APR - 8PM TO 12MN

Recently featured on Boiler Room’s Singapore, few selectors have emerged through the Singaporean scene as quickly or as impressively as Kuala Lumpur native Jenn Chunes. With ties to music collectives such as Super Enjoy (Singapore) and The Operatives (Australia), Jenn has made a habit of disarming crowds with her no-frills style and perpetually unpredictable sound. Drawing upon her multicultural roots in Malaysia, and the leftfield sensibilities gleaned from her years in Melbourne’s underground, Jenn’s freewheeling blends encompass everything from nostalgic Asian pop to forward-thinking electronic music, with drops of R&B and UKG chops when the mood calls.

TASHASAN B2B RTJ - THU 14 MAR - 8PM TO 12MN

Singapore-born and bred Natasha Hassan, aka TASHASAN, is an illustrator and promoter turned DJ after spending enough time watching her producer and DJ friends in action. Her music is a blend of genres, including garage, breaks, and percussive rhythms, all underpinned by deep bass grooves. RTJ is a core member of the StrangeWeather collective (SG) and Revision Music (SG). As a vinyl collector and selector, he explores the classic and coming of rage emerging landscapes of Southeast Asia and beyond. His music blends genres such as Jazz, Hip Hop, Dub, Electronica, and countless ever-expanding styles.

Making his debut in Singapore, JT has been exposed to House music as a dancer for almost a decade and recently started his stint as a Selector. He has played in a few dance events in SG as well as Sessions.KL last year. Expect a range of sounds; from chill beats to tracks that will get you moving!

No stranger to Moonstone but all the way from Manila, some guy’s hitting the decks this Thursday night!
